Description
pyDataverse supports the migration of large amounts of metadata and data into Dataverse thorugh its application programming interface (API). It is particularly suitable for data migration - including metadata - from one format or system to another if the starting point or destination is the repository software Dataverse. In the past, AUSSDA used it to migrate its data and metadata from the old software (NESSTAR Server) to its new research data repository software (Dataverse). pyDataverse uses the Python programming language and is open source with extensive documentation. More information can be found on GitHub. pyDataverse is being further developed as part of the Horizon 2020 project Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud (SSHOC). https://www.sshopencloud.eu/news/developing-sshoc-dataverse
