Einar Tobias Grude brings a wide range of experience in communications to his role at CESSDA. Before joining the organization, he served as Chief of Internal Communications for the Norwegian Tax Administration’s largest division.

Einar Tobias Grude brings a wide range of experience in communications to his role at CESSDA. Before joining the organization, he served as Chief of Internal Communications for the Norwegian Tax Administration’s largest division.

During his time at the Tax Administration, Einar led and contributed to major communication projects. He guided his division through a complete overhaul of its internal communication channels, supported some of the Administration’s largest marketing campaigns, spearheaded initiatives to boost employee morale and unity, and ensured compliance with Norwegian laws on clear and concise language.

Einar has a deep understanding of the social media landscape and has created a wide range of content across multiple platforms. He is a skilled writer, photographer, and photo and video editor.

He holds a Master’s degree in Media Science from the University of Bergen (Norway), a qualitative study on young adults’ interaction and relationship with political content on YouTube. 

He lives in Bergen with his wife and their dog Zoro, a loving, but cowardly, Australian Shepherd.
