CESSDA is an ERIC, a European Research Infrastructure Consortium. CESSDA provides large-scale, integrated and sustainable data services to the social sciences. It brings together social science data archives across Europe, with the aim of promoting the results of social science research and supporting national and international research and cooperation.

We interviewed key people in the CESSDA community to explain the CESSDA value proposition and its four strategic pillars: Building on trust, Renown for training, Proficiency in technology and User-friendly tools & services.

“In the long term, CESSDA should be sustainable. It should be a renowned infrastructure and trusted, where scientists really want to go. Where excellent data can be provided for all social science disciplines and other research fields. My goal for the next five years is that CESSDA stays relevant and innovative and new services will come out!”
